About "Hope for Annie"

Hope for Annie was founded with a two-fold purpose. One is that of reaching girls with the truth about life before they might decide to have an abortion they will surely regret. The other is to reach out with compassion to women of any age who have had an abortion. As many can testify, post-abortion trauma is wreaking havoc, affecting an alarming number of lives worldwide.

The number of girls and women who have had abortions is staggering. Many do not fully realize the implications and consequences of their decision until after the fact. In this way, they are themselves victimized by a societal system that embraces convenience and affluence at any cost, even the cost of the next generation. When a woman realizes the uninformed choices she made have cost the life of a child, her child, she is usually emotionally overwhelmed entering a lonely time of deep grieving accompanied by a prevailing sense of guilt.

We are here to offer hope to mothers of the aborted as they walk through the regret of the decision they have made. Hope for Annie is a safe place where women are supported as they journey to understanding and healing. We are not here to judge past actions, but to encourage women with the truth that there is hope of forgiveness; that healing is available; and that the reality of a future with joy is possible.

Hope for Annie offers the hope of forgiveness; sympathy as women work through this difficult time of grieving and tremendous loss; and encouragement as they come to terms with the decisions they have made and transition to a new outlook on life.
